Training courses (FREE!) enlighten, educate, and motivate members.

Whether you have just joined or have been a member for many years, the DAR Leadership Training Committee has a constellation of resources to give you a greater foundation and understanding of the organization and to make you and your chapter shine.

• Members Course: Explore the many aspects of DAR and what it means to be a Daughter.
• Committee Leaders Course: Learn what it takes to be a more effective committee leader, from the chapter level all the way up to national chair.
• New Horizons Course: Build confidence and leadership skills as an aspiring or current DAR leader.

The state coordinator will provide you with a course checklist, along with instructions and guidance on how to submit your worksheets for each of the modules.  In general, you are allowed up to a year to complete a course.  Please note, you must complete the Members Course before you can enroll in New Horizons. You can find relevant contact information below. All members are welcome to preview the course content before enrolling; however, you must be enrolled to qualify for course completion.  UPDATE:  A subscription to the American Spirit Magazine is no longer a requirement for ANY of the courses.
